A summer musical theatre camp where children learn singing, acting, choreography, and costume design while rehearsing and performing a full musical production with professional staging and lighting.
GingerSnap Performing Arts runs a Summer Musical Theatre Camp with two sessions in 2026. Children participate in four to three weeks of rehearsals learning choreography from professional dancers and teaching artists, studying musicality and singing, and learning acting techniques. Campers also learn about costume design from a professional costumer. The camp culminates in a full weekend of professionally produced performances open to the public, complete with costumes, set, props, and stage lighting. Through the experience, children gain self-confidence, build friendships, develop leadership skills, and become part of a supportive community of peers.
