A textile-focused overnight and day camp at Ponkapoag Camp where participants create with natural dyeing, weaving, spinning, and cyanotypes while staying in rustic cabins, plus weekend day-pass option with meals and nature activities included.
Cloth Collaborative runs Gather and Ground, a weekend craft retreat at Ponkapoag Camp. The full weekend runs Friday evening through Sunday, with participants lodging in rustic shared cabins with wood stoves. All meals and snacks are provided, with dietary accommodations available. The schedule includes workshops in natural dyeing, drop spindle spinning, tapestry weaving, and cyanotypes, along with campfire time, drawing, hikes, yoga, and swimming. A Saturday day-pass option allows participants to join for just the day, with breakfast at 9am and campfire after dinner. All supplies are provided. The camp accommodates sliding-scale pricing and scholarships.
