A summer arts and nature camp for children ages 3 and up, running two month-long sessions in June and July with a Montessori curriculum emphasizing world cultures, hands-on art projects, outdoor play, and garden activities.
Gateway Montessori offers two month-long summer sessions using the Monart curriculum to expose children to arts from many cultures and continents. Children create art projects with a variety of materials, spend extended time outdoors for free play, and tend a planter garden where they germinate seeds, watch plants grow, attract pollinators, and care for caterpillars before releasing butterflies. On Fridays, children bring ingredients from home to prepare food to share at lunch. The programme runs from 8:30 AM to either noon (half day) or 3:30 PM (full day), with lunch provided for full-day attendees.
