A 12-week summer camp for ages 3-12 featuring hands-on STEAM exploration themed around air, space, earth, and water systems, with field trips and creative challenges in a gaming-world environment. Also runs: Winter Camp at Falls Church Montessori.
Game Changers is Cadence Education's summer break program offered at Falls Church Montessori, designed for two age groups: Junior Game Changers for ages 3-4 and Game Changers for ages 5-12. Children become explorers on a mission-driven adventure, creating their own avatars and completing challenges across three epic themed blocks: Air & Space (weeks 1-4), Earth to the Core (weeks 4-8), and Water Worlds (weeks 8-12). The program emphasizes screen-free, hands-on learning through STEAM projects, teamwork activities, and field trips. Activities include creating ice age trading cards, participating in an Invention Fair, rock painting, building edible Earth models, and escape-room-style challenges. The full-day program runs during summer break, typically May through August, following local elementary school schedules.
