Further Music Summer Camp

Further Music Summer Camp is a structured, performance-focused program designed for students ages 5–12 who want to grow in musical skill, creativity, and confidence. Each week combines major-based music training, rotating creative labs, premier Friday field experiences, and a live family showcase in small, focused groups. Students select one of four camp majors: Piano Ensemble (reading, rhythm, ensemble teamwork), Band/Songwriting (guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocal with original composition), Acting & Musical Theater (voice projection, acting games, movement), or Drum Workshop (drum set, percussion, groove and timing). The camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with optional extended care until 5:00 pm. Every Friday features a supervised field trip to prestigious NYC cultural institutions including Lincoln Center, the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Juilliard School, and Broadway production workshops. The program welcomes all experience levels; no prior music experience is required. Instruments are provided as needed, though students may bring their own. Each week concludes with a family concert. All individual weeks or the full 8-week session may be enrolled.
