A summer day camp where children learn multiple sports throughout the week with an emphasis on character building, sportsmanship, and life skills. Each week focuses on one primary sport while campers also participate in a variety of other games and activities.
Fundamentals Sports Camp has run since 1998, teaching sports skills alongside character education. Children spend most of each day learning and playing a variety of sports, with each week featuring a primary sport and daily play. The camp includes an "off the field" curriculum with classroom lessons on sportsmanship, teamwork, and choosing role models. Professional coaches who are trained educators lead weekly themes, Friday game days where the whole camp participates in activities and games, and each camper creates a "Play Book" with crafts and notes from the curriculum.
