A week-long day camp where children learn horseback riding, horse care, and farm animal husbandry. Campers brush, saddle, and ride horses daily, adopt a farm animal to care for during the week, and participate in trail rides and other horse-related activities.
Forest View Farms offers summer day camp sessions throughout June, July, and August for children ages 6 and up. Each week runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. During camp, children learn essential horsemanship skills including brushing and saddling horses, take daily riding lessons and trail rides, and adopt a farm animal to care for and learn about throughout the week. The farm also incorporates other horse-related activities into the daily schedule. Campers are required to wear helmets while riding, and helmet rental is available for $5 per week.
