Full-day and half-day camps at the Field Museum where children in grades K-6 explore natural history and human cultures through hands-on experiences, meet scientists, and use real scientific tools during school breaks.
Field Explorer Day Off Camps are full-day camps for children in grades K-6, offered several times throughout the school year during typical school break periods. Jr. Explorer Day Off Camps are half-day camps for younger children in grades K-1. Campers encounter natural history and human cultures through exciting experiences, make friends, learn how Field Museum scientists work, investigate using real scientific tools, and discover new aspects of science. Sessions cover topics like Exploring Native Truths, Illinois Underwater, Bones and Stones, Life in Color, and Creature Quest.
