A one-week summer day camp at Kline Creek Farm where children participate in seasonal agricultural activities including planting, harvesting, canning, and caring for livestock on a working 1890s farm.
Farmhands is a unique day camp offered in summer at Kline Creek Farm, located within Timber Ridge Forest Preserve. Campers engage in hands-on farm activities including planting, weeding, harvesting, canning, and maple sugaring. The farm maintains Percheron workhorses, Southdown sheep, Shorthorn cattle, and chickens, and children work with these animals as part of the seasonal programming. The camp combines agricultural education with living history experiences at the 1890s farmhouse.
