A play-based summer camp running 3-4 weeks in June for children ages 3-5, combining all age groups for outdoor activities, water play, and field trips in the school's courtyard and beyond.
Families Together Summer Camp operates during June with outdoor-focused, play-based programming. Children from all FTCNS classes ages 3 to 5 are combined into mixed groups led by FTCNS teachers and additional qualified staff. The camp takes advantage of the school's courtyard space for outdoor and water activities. Each week concludes with a school bus field trip to local destinations such as museums, nature areas, and parks including The Skokie Exploritorium, Walking Stick Woods, and Welles Park. The school provides a healthy snack daily; families bring lunch from home. Enrollment is open first to current FTCNS students who have turned 3 and completed at least one year, then to alumni, incoming students, and the community. Families may attend one week or multiple weeks, with limited financial aid available.
