An 8-week nature-based summer camp for children ages 2–5 running June through mid-August, featuring outdoor play, gardening, animal studies, water activities, and enrichment classes in music and sports.
Explorations in Nature is a summer program offered by Riverdale Presbyterian Church Nursery School from June 22 through August 14, 2026. The camp provides nature-focused activities including dirt and mud play, gardening, animal and insect studies, water and sprinkler play, scavenger hunts, and picnics. Each week includes music classes with Music with Melissa and sports classes with Legendary All-Stars. Families can choose 3–5 days per week, with options for full day (9 am–4 pm) or morning sessions (9 am–12 pm). Early drop-off at 8 am is available. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided; parents bring lunch except Fridays, which features a special Pizza & Popsicle lunch. The program is open to children ages 2–5 from the community, not just RPCNS enrollees.
