Three-day summer mini camps for children ages 2½ to 4½ not entering kindergarten, featuring play-based learning, sensory exploration, and early social development activities held at the Community Center.
Early Childhood Mini Camps are designed for children ages 2½ to 4½ who are not entering kindergarten in fall. The program offers one-week sessions (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with two age groups: Morning Stars for ages 2½-3½ meeting 9:00-11:00 a.m., and Shooting Stars for ages 3½-4½ meeting 12:00-2:00 p.m. Each three-day session features play-based learning, sensory exploration, indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, games, and gross motor play. The camp runs seven weeks from mid-June through late July with themed sessions including Creepy, Crawly Bugs; Superheroes; Summer Fun; On the Farm; Under the Sea; Dino Discovery; and Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Campers should bring a refillable water bottle and a sweatshirt. No snacks or food are provided.
