Single-day STEAM camps during school breaks where children in grades K–3 explore themes like detective mysteries, winter science, dinosaur paleontology, and engineering through hands-on activities, building and tinkering alongside museum educators.
DuPage Children's Museum runs Day-Off Camp on days when school is closed, offering full-day STEAM adventures from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Each camp day has a different theme: campers might solve mysteries as detectives, explore how animals survive winter, investigate the chemistry of ice and snow, design winter structures, or dig into paleontology and fossil discoveries. All activities take place at the museum with playtime included in the exhibits. Camps serve children currently in grades K–3 and are led by DCM educators.
