District 1's free summer learning program for New York City students in grades K–12, offering full-day in-person sessions with academic support, arts, recreation, and social-emotional learning, plus breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
Summer Rising is New York City's free summer learning plan available to all students in grades K–12, including students with disabilities. Programs are run by local school leaders and community-based organizations, creating a bridge back to school in the fall. Each day includes academic support, arts, recreation, and social-emotional support in a safe, supportive environment with prepared staff. All students receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack.
