See if kids you know are going to this camp.
Discovery Language Programs runs one- and two-week language immersion summer camps for kindergarten through 8th grade in Spanish, French, and German. Each camp uses games, songs, cultural activities, art projects, and cooking to teach the target language.
Discovery Language Programs offers summer camps designed as imaginary trips to countries where the chosen language is spoken. Spanish camps meet four hours daily for five consecutive days (one-week curriculum) or two hours daily for ten days (two-week curriculum), with two levels available. French and German camps follow similar formats. All activities—games, sports, cooking, art projects, and cultural instruction—are conducted in the target language. Spanish Camp 1 covers greetings, colors, numbers, days of the week, clothing, animals, and marketplace vocabulary with Mexican cultural units. Spanish Camp 3, for more advanced students, covers numbers up to 100, shapes, sports, seasons, weather, and Spanish culture. Students receive handout folders with vocabulary lists.
