A summer camp for currently enrolled young children at Del Ray Montessori, featuring Montessori-based practical life activities, gardening, arts and crafts, water play, and daily baking in a consistent, peaceful learning environment.
Del Ray Montessori School offers summer camp exclusively for children already enrolled in its Young Children's Community (18 months–3 years) and Primary (3–6 years) programs. The camp maintains the school's Montessori approach with familiar teachers, consistent daily schedules, and materials for exploration. Children engage in practical life activities like flower arranging, painting, sewing, and other arts; tend the school garden to grow and harvest vegetables and herbs; participate in daily baking and food preparation; and enjoy water play. The camp runs five days a week from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with optional after-care until 5:00 pm, and families may enroll in individual weeks or the full summer program.
