A summer dance camp in Chicago for ages 3-11 offering ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and acro, with younger children also enjoying daily dance-themed crafts. The academy runs multiple summer intensives including technique-focused and hip-hop/jazz funk programs.
Definition Dance Academy offers several summer programs. The main Summer Dance Camp welcomes all levels and abilities ages 3-11, featuring ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and acro classes. Younger campers also participate in daily dance-themed crafts. The Technique Intensive serves experienced dancers with 90-minute ballet, 60-minute stretch and strength, and 60-minute bonus classes in leaps, turns, improv or transitions. The Esen Experience focuses on hip-hop and jazz funk over four days, taught by specialty choreographers including Nicki Niemet and Sergio Lopez, with an optional add-on for professional headshots and solo dance video.
