Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center runs five summer dance intensives for children ages 5-25, ranging from beginner ballet and theatrical programs to advanced pre-professional training. Camps run one to two weeks in June and July, with daily classes in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, and musical theater.
DMPAC offers a range of summer dance programs designed for different skill levels. The Flower Fairy Ballet Camp (ages 5-6) combines ballet with creative activities like making fairy crowns and painting. Young Performing Artists Theatrical Program (ages 7-10) features five daily classes exploring various dance genres. The Bridge Program (ages 10-13) focuses on ballet and musical theater for intermediate dancers with 3-5 years of experience. CYDP Dance Company Intensive (ages 12-16) serves pre-professional dancers with five daily classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and modern. The Master Series (ages 14-25) is a conservatory-style program with four daily classes led by professional choreographers and master teachers. All programs include performance opportunities and are taught by DMPAC's renowned faculty and guest artists.
