One-week kung fu summer camps for children ages 7-16 at all skill levels, meeting 3 hours daily with instruction in forms, weapons, kicks, and conditioning taught by black belt instructors.
Davis Square Martial Arts offers week-long summer kung fu camps designed for students ages 7 to 16, from beginner to black belt. Each session includes 15 hours of training and is split into age and belt-level groups. The curriculum covers warm-ups, stretching, jumping drills, kicks, forms, weapons practice, rolls and cartwheels, and games. Special-topic weeks focus on agility and weapons for more advanced students. Classes meet indoors at the school with opportunities for outdoor practice in the adjacent park.
