A full-day summer camp combining morning dance classes with afternoon art projects, held for two weeks in July at St. Andrew's Church in South Orange. Campers work with professional dancers and artists, participate in games, Thursday pizza day, and a Friday performance. Also runs: Teen Dance Week.
Dance + Art Camp runs for two weeks (July 6-10 and July 13-17) and welcomes children ages 6 and up through early teens. Mornings focus on dance instruction while afternoons feature art projects through a partnership with Allegra Baldwin/Mobile Makers, including textile art, tie dye, accessory design, and collage. The week includes movement games, outdoor snacks, a Thursday pizza day, a Friday camper choreography showcase, and a rock and roll dance party. Campers may register for one or both weeks. Teen Internship and CIT programs are also available for older teens.
