A youth boxing program at Betinelli's Community Boxing Academy in West Babylon teaching Olympic-style amateur boxing fundamentals to kids ages 9-16, meeting twice weekly with a focus on character building, fitness, and self-discipline.
D.R.I.F.T. Youth Boxing Camp is designed to introduce young people to Olympic-style amateur boxing through structured, character-building training. Each twice-weekly class begins with the Pledge of Allegiance and coach-led discussions about previous lessons, followed by warmup and stretching routines including core work. Students learn boxing fundamentals and are physically challenged to build fitness and technical skills. The program limits class size to 10-12 students to ensure quality instruction. After the first year of training, students who demonstrate mastery of techniques and proper attitude may advance to competitive training, sparring, and Team BCBA opportunities, including potential trips to boxing events.
