A weekend cyclocross skills camp for riders of all abilities, held annually in August in Southampton, MA. Instruction covers technique and training led by experienced cyclocross coaches, with a specific track for riders under 13.
The Cycle-Smart Cyclocross Camp is the original cyclocross camp in North America, now in its 25th year. It welcomes riders of all ability levels and offers in-depth instruction in cyclocross technique and training. The weekend camp runs Saturday and Sunday with morning and afternoon sessions; a separate Monday-Tuesday training-focused option is available for experienced riders (USAC Cat. 4 and above, age 13+). Riders under 13 have their own coaching group and discounted pricing. All participants must have a USA Cycling license. The camp's location at Glendale Ridge Vineyard in Southampton provides a scenic setting, and many notable cyclocross racers including Ellen Noble and Jeremy Powers got their start here.
