A summer day camp in Phoenix offering Mexican folkloric dance, theater games, rhythm and music, and Spanish or Nahuatl language instruction for children ages 6–12, with cultural crafts and activities throughout the week.
Culture Kids Camp immerses children in Mexican culture and traditions through multiple disciplines. Children explore traditional Mexican dance with authentic choreography and colorful costumes, build confidence through theater games and improvisation, develop rhythm and coordination through music and body percussion, and learn Spanish or Nahuatl through songs, games, and cultural storytelling. Each day includes folklorico dance, language instruction, lunch, theater games, and rhythm activities, with a showcase at the end of the session where children demonstrate what they've learned.
