1 E Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL, 60014
See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A day camp run by the Crystal Lake Park District where children participate in weekly sessions with local and full-day field trips, swim lessons three days a week, and activities including art projects, scavenger hikes, and games designed to build confidence and social skills.
The Crystal Lake Park District operates a newly developed day camp program following DCEO, IDPH and American Camping Association guidelines. All camps begin at Main Beach each morning, and each week campers experience both a local field trip and a full day regular field trip. The program includes three days of swim lessons each week. The camp aims to help campers build confidence, independence, and a sense of responsibility while developing social skills through small group games, art projects, scavenger hikes, and making new friendships. Standard procedures including dismissal, e-newsletters, and rainout line updates are consistent across sessions.
