The Cross Island YMCA runs traditional and specialized summer day camps for children ages 3–15 from late June through mid-August, including traditional camp, early childhood, kinder, swim, dance, STEAM, sports, and teen options with activities in arts, athletics, science, and team building.

Cross Island YMCA offers multiple summer camp programs running in two-week sessions from June 29 through August 21, 2026. Traditional Summer Camp (ages 6–12) combines physical fitness, arts and crafts, science experiments, and theme days with a focus on social-emotional learning and the YMCA's core values. Early Childhood Camp (ages 3–4) uses hands-on, sensory-based play and thematic activities to prepare young children for school. Kinder Camp (ages 4–5) helps children entering kindergarten build classroom skills and emotional readiness. Specialized camps include Swim Camp, Dance Camp, STEAM Camp, Sports Camp, and Teen Camp (ages 13–15). All campers participate in instructional swimming. Camp hours are 9 am–5 pm with optional extended care from 8–9 am and 5–6 pm. The camp fosters inclusive community with financial assistance available.
