A day camp in Crystal Lake and Wauconda where young artists explore drawing, painting, sculpting, and mixed media with professional instructors. Campers enjoy outdoor lunch, art journals, and special animal visits each week.
Creative Arts runs summer art camps at two locations in the Crystal Lake area. At the Crystal Lake studio, campers ages 7–17 attend 4-day camps (9:30 am–2:00 pm) for $195 or 3-day camps for $150, plus 2-hour workshops for $90. The Wauconda location offers 4-day camps (9:00 am–1:00 pm) for $190. Sessions run Monday through Thursday (or Monday–Wednesday for workshops), with new projects each week. The camp emphasizes quality materials and instruction from professional artists. Special guests from Randall Oaks Zoo and Lost Woods Animal Sanctuary visit throughout the summer to inspire creativity. Campers bring their own nut-free lunches.
