Community Nursery School's Summer Session runs June 29–July 31 in five weekly sessions for children turning 3 by July 31 and not entering kindergarten in the fall. The program is designed for outdoor play on the school's large campus, which includes a tree house, sandbox, swings, climbing structures, and a blacktop bike area. When weather requires, children move to a well-equipped indoor playroom with slides, climbing structures, and riding toys. Activities include water play, art experiences, cooking, group games, story time, and music. The first week involves indoor mornings to help new children adjust, with parents invited to stay until their child is comfortable.
