A 4-week beginner jiu jitsu programme at Clockwork Jiu Jitsu Rockaway that teaches foundational techniques, positions and self-defense skills to students with no prior experience, meeting twice weekly with instruction tailored for beginners.
Clockwork Jiu Jitsu's Beginner Boot Camp is an 8-class programme structured over 4 weeks, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Designed for absolute beginners, the programme covers core positions like guard, mount and side control, basic submissions, escape techniques and real-world application of jiu jitsu. Each participant receives a free jiu jitsu gi (uniform) and white belt. The academy intentionally keeps classes small, capping enrolment at 12 participants to ensure individual attention. Classes are supportive and beginner-only, with instructors breaking down techniques at a digestible pace. Upon completion, students have the option to continue with regular membership, with part of the boot camp cost credited toward ongoing training.
