Citizens for Conservation runs two weekly summer day camps at Flint Creek Savanna for young naturalists. Beginning Naturalists Camp welcomes ages 5–7 for nature hikes and crafts, while Junior Naturalists Camp serves ages 8–10 with exploration of multiple preserves and discovery activities.
Citizens for Conservation, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving northeastern Illinois ecosystems, operates summer day camps where children explore natural areas through hands-on learning. Campers at Flint Creek and other CFC preserves observe wildlife, learn about native plants and insects, participate in nature-themed games and crafts, and take guided nature hikes. Both camps emphasize small group sizes and age-appropriate activities designed for fun and discovery.
