5097 N. Elston Ave. #203, Chicago, IL, 60630
See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A summer drama camp where children ages 6-13 write original stories and poems, adapt them for the stage, and perform their own production. The camp emphasizes ensemble building, self-esteem, and creative problem-solving through instruction in writing, acting, improvisation, dance, music, and movement.
Child's Play Touring Theatre's summer camp immerses young performers in theatrical creation, providing a safe environment to share and discover talents while learning the creative process. Campers work with teaching artists to develop skills in writing, acting, improvisation, juggling, movement, dance, music, and stage direction. The camp culminates in an original production performed for family and friends. Special guest artists have included instructors from Mummies & Masterpieces who introduce students to visual arts to inspire their creative writing.
