A six-week summer day camp running June 22 to July 31 at Peterson Park Gymnastics Center in Chicago, offering six hours daily of sports, arts, fitness, and outdoor activities with gymnastics instruction included, serving children ages 6-12.
The Chicago Park District runs a comprehensive summer day camp program at multiple parks throughout the city, including Peterson Park Gymnastics Center. The six-week program operates from June 22 to July 31, 2026, with most camps running six hours daily from 9 AM to 3 PM or 10 AM to 4 PM. Campers participate in sports, arts, fitness, and outdoor activities with themes woven throughout including civic engagement, environmental awareness, inclusion, collaboration, brain play, reflection, friendship and kindness. The Park District provides financial assistance for Chicago residents unable to pay.
