A summer dance intensive in Chicago offering weekday and Saturday programs for dancers ages 2–18, with daily technique training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary dance from early July through August.
Chicago Contemporary Dance Theatre runs structured summer intensives designed to improve technique, build strength, and prepare dancers for the upcoming season. The weekday program runs Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 4 PM, from July 6–30, combining ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, tap, conditioning, leaps and turns, flexibility training, and tumbling. Saturday programs include a Stars Ballet/Tap combo for ages 2–5, a Saturday summer intensive for ages 5–8, and an intro to jazz class for ages 4–5, all running July 6 through August 1. The studio emphasizes technique, discipline, and artistic growth for dancers of all levels.
