Chicago Ballet Arts offers summer ballet programming for ages 2–18, including ongoing classes, intensives, camps and workshops taught by faculty and guest artists, with options ranging from general ballet to pre-professional training and specialized bootcamps.
Chicago Ballet Arts supplements its school-year ballet program with multiple summer opportunities. Summer Session I serves ages 2–18, Summer Session II serves ages 2–12, and the Pre-Professional Intensive targets ages 10–19. Ballet Bootcamp is designed for ages 10–18, while Summer Saturdays offers classes for ages 8–18. A free Choreographic Workshop is available for ages 9–18. Adult Intensive classes continue throughout the summer for ages 18+. All programming is open to current and new students with no auditions required, though placement classes may be offered. Classes are taught by CBA faculty and guest artists focused on technical and artistic development, and private lessons are also available.
