Champ Camp Great Outdoors at Loyola University of Chicago Lake Shore Campus

Champ Camp Great Outdoors runs weekly sessions from mid-June through early August 2026 at Loyola University of Chicago's Lake Shore Campus. The camp operates 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily with optional extended care from 7:30–9 a.m. and 4–5:30 p.m. at no additional cost. Each week includes two field trips to nature preserves, museums, zoos, and outdoor destinations. Younger campers (ages 5–8) engage in nature exploration, fort building, treasure hunts, and art with natural materials, while older campers (ages 9–12) tackle wilderness survival challenges, zip-lining, water parks, and leadership activities. The camp is located on campus grounds with direct access to Loyola Beach and Loyola Park, offering a mix of lakefront exploration and structured programming. Snacks are included, and a 10% discount applies when enrolling multiple children.
