Two summer day camp programs at Adventure Aquarium in Camden where young explorers engage in hands-on marine science, citizen science projects, animal encounters, and behind-the-scenes tours to learn about ocean conservation and aquatic careers.
The Center for Aquatic Sciences offers two summer day camp programs set at Adventure Aquarium. Ocean Explorer Camp serves ages 6-11 with hands-on science activities including crafts, experiments, animal encounters, behind-the-scenes tours, outdoor activities in Wiggins Park, waterfront walks, and gift shop visits. Junior Marine Biologist Camp serves ages 12-15 with a more advanced curriculum including experiments, demonstrations, exhibit visits, field trips, meetings with science professionals, and career exploration in the aquatic sciences field. Both programs emphasize citizen science projects, conservation education, and environmental stewardship throughout the week.
