A capoeira training program for children in the New York area, taught by Mestra Joy. Classes meet in Astoria four times per week and near Astor Place in Manhattan twice weekly, offering instruction in this Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, self-defense, and acrobatics.
Capoeira Brasil NYC offers capoeira training for kids as part of their community-based martial arts school.
