Camp Venture is a seven-week integrated summer program for Rockland County children with and without special needs, running from late June through mid-August. The non-competitive outdoor camp offers daily programming from 10 AM to 3 PM, with optional morning and afternoon extensions, and serves as Venture Together's founding program since 1969.
Located in Stony Point, NY, Camp Venture is an integrated, non-competitive outdoor program designed for children with and without special needs. The camp runs for seven weeks during the summer season, with flexible registration options allowing children to attend weekly or for the entire season. Daily hours are Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM, with morning (8:30–10 AM) and afternoon (3:00–4:30 PM) program extensions available. The camp's staff includes professional educators, a full-time nurse, and trained counselors. Children bring lunch from home. Camp Venture was the first program of its kind in New York State when it opened in 1969.
