Camp Sol Summer Camp is a 7-day, 6-night overnight camp experience held at YMCA Camp Linwood MacDonald in Sandyston, New Jersey. The camp runs in late July and serves enrolled deaf and hard of hearing members of the Camp Sol Youth program from the Northeast region. Campers are divided into age-appropriate teams and participate in activities including sports, arts and crafts, nature education, hikes, swimming, and team activities planned by youth staff and deaf leaders. The camp emphasizes building friendships, developing deaf identity in a multicultural environment, and developing self-confidence and new skills.
