Camp Sewataro

Located on 44 acres of woodland just outside Boston, Camp Sewataro has operated as a day camp for over 65 years. The camp serves children from preschool through 8th grade, plus a counselor-in-training program for 9th and 10th graders, across six age-based sections: Sprouts (half-day for ages 3–4), Saplings (full-day for age 4), Fox (kindergarten and 1st grade), Bear (2nd and 3rd grade), Eagle (4th and 5th grade), and Owl (6th–8th grade). Each program includes a mix of outdoor activities such as swimming at the pond with Red Cross-certified lifeguards, archery, boating and canoe rides, adventure challenges including ropes courses and climbing walls, zip-lining, arts and crafts, music, drama, team and individual sports, fishing, horseback riding, field trips, and nature study. The camp operates weekly sessions throughout the summer and offers special Friday events, overnight camping experiences, and carnivals. Extended day care and transportation (bus pickup/dropoff) are available. The camp is ACA-accredited and emphasizes community, exploration, character development, and kindness as core values.
