An overnight Jewish summer camp in the Northwoods serving campers in grades 3–11 with eight age-divided programs ranging from one to seven-and-a-half weeks. Activities include waterfront sports, arts, outdoor adventure, and Jewish cultural immersion.
Camp Ramah in Wisconsin offers overnight summer experiences for children entering grades 3 through 11, with eight distinct age-based programs designed to grow with campers as they mature. Younger campers (grades 3–5) in Ruach Ramah enjoy one- or two-week introductions to overnight camp featuring swimming, sports, arts, dance, and challenge courses. Older campers progress through Garinim, Halutzim, Solelim, Shoafim, Bogrim, Machon, and Nivonim programs, each with increasing independence and leadership opportunities. The camp emphasizes Jewish identity and community through Shabbat services, Hebrew songs, and cultural celebrations alongside diverse activities: waterfront options including swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding; athletics like basketball and Yom Sport competitions; creative arts including theater and music; and outdoor adventure such as ropes courses and canoe trips. Most staff are former campers, and the camp maintains a small camper-to-staff ratio. The camp has operated for 80 years.
