Camp Montclare is a play-focused summer day camp for children ages 2-5 running in June and July at Montclare Children's School on Manhattan's Upper West Side. The camp features art, music, multi-sports, yoga, outdoor activities, and special events designed to foster creativity, social development, and a love of learning.
Camp Montclare runs from June 15 to July 24, 2026, with age-appropriate programming for toddlers through pre-kindergarten children. The 2's program (ages under 2 with adult supervision) meets 3 or 5 days per week from 9:00-11:30am with activities including sand and water play, free play, music and movement. The 3's program runs Monday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm with music, movement, art, an art farm experience, multi-sports, and special activities. The 4's program operates Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:30pm with expanded activities including swimming, visits to Central Park, outdoor picnics, and special events. The camp emphasizes open-ended play and exploration in a safe, developmentally appropriate setting.
