See if kids you know are going to this camp.
A free weekend bereavement camp in Natick for children ages 5-18 who have lost a loved one, combining grief education and emotional support with traditional camp activities led by hospice professionals and trained volunteers. Also runs: Camp Angel Wings.
Camp Kangaroo is a psychotherapy and creative arts therapy-based bereavement program offered free to children in the community who have experienced the death of a loved one. Over two days, children participate in activities focused on memorializing their special person, learning self-care techniques, building relationships, and having fun. The camp helps children feel less alone in their grief by providing a supportive environment to express emotions and learn effective coping strategies. An adult program is also offered for parents and guardians.
