A summer day camp for rising preschool through grade 7 students run by Frances Xavier Warde School at its Old St. Patrick's Campus in Chicago's West Loop. Campers are organized into packs of 10-12 and participate in swimming, sports, art, cooking, rock climbing, and other activities led by school staff and specialists.
Camp Jaguar is FXW's summer program offering flexible options for children from preschool through grade 7. Campers arrive at Old St. Patrick's Campus starting at 8 a.m., with activities beginning at 9 a.m. They are organized into packs—small groups of 10-12 campers with counselors—who stay together throughout the day for swimming, lunch, competitions, and activities. The daily schedule includes time with art specialists, swimming instruction, cooking experiences, and other enrichment activities. Rising grade 8 students can apply to the Counselor-in-Training program. Jaguar Genius Camps, led by FXW faculty, offer more focused academic experiences combined with summer activities. The school provides lunch daily with rotating child-friendly menus including hot meals and fresh produce. Campers can participate in camp-wide events including talent shows, pack competitions, and special performances. After-camp care is available until 5 p.m. The camp is open to both current FXW families and the public.
