Camp Hudson is a summer day camp for grades K-5 that immerses children in design thinking and innovation through hands-on tinkering, making, and nature exploration. Each week features a unique themed project—from Spy Academy to Space Camp—where campers build, design, and problem-solve while developing confidence in their creative abilities.
Held at Andrus on Hudson's 26-acre campus in Hastings-on-Hudson, Camp Hudson runs four themed sessions from June 29 through August 14, 2026, from 9:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each week has a different theme: Spy Academy, Lost City, The Last Airbender: Battle of the Elements, and Space Camp. Campers engage in large-scale collaborative tinkering projects using real tools, explore nature through the wooded grounds and garden, and participate in maker activities spanning art, photography, circuitry, and more. The program emphasizes design thinking and the innovation process to solve challenges. Days conclude with choice time where campers select from various activities. One- and two-week sessions are available.
