Camp HepSIBah is a week-long summer overnight camp where separated siblings in foster, group, and adoptive care reunite to spend time together and create lasting memories through activities like canoeing, archery, rock climbing, and campfire gatherings.
Camp HepSIBah, founded in 2003, provides a critical service for the 75 percent of children in substitute care who are separated from siblings. During the week at a woodland retreat, brothers and sisters living in different homes participate in canoeing, archery, rock climbing, cookouts, and campfire activities while building deep emotional bonds that sustain them beyond camp. The program also offers junior counselor positions for youth ages 15-19 from Hephzibah foster care homes to develop leadership skills and job readiness.
