A day camp combining STEAM exploration and outdoor activities for children in grades K through 8, with structured daily projects, collaborative challenges, games and extended care options available.
Camp Galileo at St. Francis Xavier in La Grange runs weekly summer sessions where campers work on hands-on STEAM projects in age-appropriate groups, collaborate on design challenges in the Idea Lab, enjoy outdoor games and team-building activities, and participate in daily opening and closing ceremonies. Each grade level has its own curriculum track: Nebula campers (K-1st) and Star campers (2nd-3rd) work on 1-2 day projects, while Supernova campers (4th-5th) tackle longer individual projects. The camp day runs 9am-3pm with optional extended care from 8-9am and 3-6pm.
