A day camp combining STEAM projects and outdoor play for children in kindergarten through eighth grade, running weekly sessions from mid-June through July with extended care options available.
Camp Galileo's Evanston location offers an acclaimed curriculum that blends hands-on STEAM exploration with outdoor adventure. Children work on creative projects in the Innovator's Studio, collaborate on design challenges in the Idea Lab, and enjoy outdoor games and team-building activities. The camp day runs from 9am to 3pm with optional extended care from 8am to 9am and 3pm to 6pm. Each age group—from Nebula campers (K-1st) through Star campers (2nd-3rd) to Supernova campers (4th-5th) and older grades—works on age-appropriate projects designed to challenge thinking and build creative confidence. All-camp opening and closing ceremonies, snack breaks, and outdoor play round out each day.
