A Catholic day camp running for over 25 years at St. James Church in Chicago, offering weekly themed activities including sports, swimming, field trips, LEGO robotics, arts and crafts, 3D printing, and religious instruction led by Salesian priests and trained young adults. Also runs: Camp Don Bosco Winter.
Camp Don Bosco Summer operates at St. James Church, one block from the Valdocco Youth Center camp office. The camp is directed by Salesian priests and brothers along with well-trained young adult and high school student counselors from the parish. Each week features fun themes, Holy Mass, Catholic faith lessons, sports, games, swimming, field trips, LEGO robotics, arts and crafts, and 3D printing. Registration is available online or in person at the camp office.
