A summer day camp in Palatine for ages 3-12 run by teen counselors under adult supervision, incorporating Montessori principles with creative activities, outdoor play, arts, STEM, and collaborative projects. Open to all children regardless of school enrollment.
Camp Curiosity offers a nurturing, safe environment where children engage in play-based and project-based learning. For ages 3-6, the focus is on process-oriented art, sensory exploration, imaginative play, music, movement, and nature activities. For ages 6-12, activities include stop motion animation, puppet making, cooking, coding, cardboard creations, water games, STEM, sports, and arts and crafts. The camp is run by teen counselors (ages 14+) but remains adult-supervised. Children must be potty-trained to participate. The program operates half-day (8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and full-day (8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) options with lunch and outdoor time included daily.
