A three-day outdoor education trip for Radnor Township School District 5th-grade students featuring pond study, wildlife observation, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, orienteering, survival skills, and low ropes courses at Camp Canadensis in Pennsylvania.
During three days at Camp Canadensis, all registered RTSD 5th-grade students participate in engaging lessons taught by RTSD elementary staff. Activities include pond study, wildlife study, forest study, fishing, Pennsylvania water life, canoeing, kayaking, a low ropes confidence course, hiking, orienteering, outdoor survival skills, and a sensory trail. Evening activities and movies are provided. Approximately 25 staff members and elementary administration supervise students throughout the trip.
